The Jubilee Icon traveled from St Mary’s in Madison, Illinois to be venerated by the parishiners of St. Michael's Parish, in Mishawaka, Indiana.

On Sunday, July 24, the Icon was set before the tetrapod in time for the 10 am Divine Liturgy. Following the Liturgy, all were invited to the 11:30 am picnic in the yard.

Having enjoyed the food and friendship of the others, at one o’clock, all congregated again in the church for a moleben, a time to bid farewell to the visiting icon.

As the schedule allowed for additional time in the area, the Icon went to Sacred Heart Basilica, Notre Dame, Indiana. Here the image was set out for veneration from July 25-27.

Additionally, The Pro-tection Icon was taken to the Roman Catholic Cathedral of St Matthew, in South Bend July 28-31. Here, according to the pastor and rector: "people flocked to it." At both the basilica and cathedral, a specially-prepared poster was also on display, noting the purpose and particular details of the Icon and its importance to the Eparchy of St Nicholas.
Fr Jim Karepin, OP, before returning  to duties at the Bishop’s Chancery, on Sunday, July 31, retrieved the Icon and  transported it to its next stop, St. Michael's, West Pullman.
